World Cup Bike Test
Fort William has been voted the best mountain bike event in the world three years running - but it's just got even better! For the first time, you can test-ride some of the latest bikes out on the World Championship cross country course in-between watching the racing over the World Cup weekend.
Leanachan Forest has played host to 5 World Cup cross country events, as well as the World Championships in 2007, so has a great network of trails. The Bike Test uses a shortened loop of just over 4km, with a mix of forest road, technical singletrack and cruising double tracks, offering the ideal terrain for testing bikes.
You will need a World Cup ticket (book online here) to access the World Cup Village, but once inside, bike testing is FREE - you just need to book in advance to make sure your chosen bike is available, bring the relevant documentation and turn up on time for your planned test-ride.
